In December of 2021, Pinterest Manager and SEO Blog Content Creator Mckayla Spencer from The Comma Mama Co. reached out for a Showit Website to create a more professional space to send her potential clients. After some consultation, we decided to move forward with a Showit Design Day utilizing our template The Social Club and customizing it to match her branding and services.
I reached out three months post-launch to check on her progress and if her site was meeting her goals. Here is what she shared:
- Mckayla raised her prices by 150% and signed three new clients in the first month at her new rate with six-month contracts
- She experienced 147% increase in revenue between her services and digital product sales
- We we’re also able to create a mobile-friendly website, something she previously struggled with
Getting Started With Mckayla’s New Showit Website
The initial consultation included identifying her needs and goals and determining which method would meet her needs while matching her budget – in the end, we chose to move forward with a Showit Template Customization. Mckayla’s main goal was to promote her signature offer at a new price, her Pinterest Management services, and have a user-friendly sales page for her main digital product.
To suit her needs, we adjusted the services page from The Social Club and created a new page for her Pinterest Mini-Course to meet her goals. Moving to a template also matched her need for a mobile-friendly website.
How We Combined Her Current Branding and Copy With a Pre-Made Template
Showit makes adjusting colors and fonts easy in their backend, you just need to update your design settings. In this instance, Mckayla had quite a few additional changes to make which is why she opted for a customization, but if she only need to update for branding and copy – it would have been a simple DIY!
First, I updated her design settings to match her template to her branding and fonts. Next, I uploaded her brand images to in appropriate spots by matching sizing, color, and content. Finally, I updated the copy on the template to the copy provided by her.
CTA’s and button were also swapped to match her current offers including the services section on the home page and about page.
How Her Site is Performing Today – Six Months Post Launch
Reaching back out to her six-month post launch, Mckayla’s site is still performing well today. You can visit her site here: www.thecommamamaco.com.
Mckayla has made a few updates of her own, along with purchasing the additional link in bio template to match her website. She has updated her banner, her services, and a few other small things on her site to match her updated offers. The benefit of a Showit template is that she, as a business owner, can easily go in and update on her own without outsourcing – which is one of the primary reasons we decided to work with Showit for her website.
